Excerpt from the journal of Rexx, portrait artist:

I was commissioned to do this portrait by some rigger wannabe, name of Hero. Stupid name, if you ask me but he paid in full so who cares?

Not a talker, this “hero,” but he had specific requests for this image: there had to be mountains, the Space Needle and urban elements. I asked him the occasion of this definitive moment in his life that required a portrait.

All he said was, “it was a good day.”

Whatever skims your clams, chummer.

“A Good Day”

I laughed as he practically skipped outta my studio, portrait in hand.

I could use more rubes like Hero.
