During my crafty years, I spun my own yarn. Got pretty good at it and tried to sell it on Etsy and 1000 Markets. Over time, I like to think my product photos improved. However, the items I like to make were not selling, so I closed my shops. I still have all those product photos.
This is a photo of yarns that didn’t sell, so I decided to convert the skeins to balls and put them in a bowl until I figured out what to do with them (doll sweaters).
I took this photo with my Powershot S50, apparently a manual setting.
For you yarn geeks, these were 2 ply yarns, spun and plied on my Ashford Elizabeth wheel. A custom, hand-carded blend of wool, mohair, alpaca and the roving was natural colored, Ashford Corridale (pink), and purchase, hand dyed wool/mohair.
